Job Description: Sydney Science completed an installation at Yale University’s Environmental Science Center in New Haven, Connecticut in the Fall of 2019. A building that houses office, laboratory, and classroom space for the departments of ecology and evolutionary biology, geology and geophysics, anthropology, the School of Forestry and Environmental Studies (FES) and the Yale Institute for Biospheric Studies (YIBS). The lab spaces incorporate Hamilton Laboratory Solutions custom student ventilated workstations, instructor workstations, fume hoods and epoxy worktops by American Epoxy Scientific. This custom casework project required extensive collaboration between Sydney Science’s team, our third-party engineering firm, Creative Design Resources LLC, Petra Construction, Stantec Architecture & Engineering and Yale University personnel in order to produce designs that would maximize space and accommodate a wide variety of research activities and methods.
